Abi Connick is a brand designer who built a strong loyal following of 400k+ followers on Instagram and Youtube. They successfully built a multi-six figure business selling design templates and courses to help freelance designers scale their business. However, the business lacked a clear sales funnel and most landing pages were not optimized for sales. We started working with Abi & Jack in early 2024 to help them build and execute a growth strategy including a robust funnel optimization program.
We built Abi Connick a robust funnel optimization roadmap to improve conversion across the site. The Funnel Optimization Roadmap is a tool to prioritize initiatives based on their potential impact on sales.
It involves analyzing website experiences and customer journeys, then ranking initiatives using a RICE score, which considers Reach & Impact, Confidence, and Effort. Reach & Impact is gauged by potential incremental revenue, Confidence is a probability estimate of the initiative leading to more sales, and Effort is a score based on the amount of work required for the change. The RICE score determines the estimated impact of each initiative.
We compiled a list of 10 optimizations and prioritized them based on impact. Once we got alignment with the client, we worked to execute the top five changes across the site including a new optimized homepage, templates page, course pages and local currency optimization.
